Adult Patients

KHCC provides a comprehensive program of services to adult patients (18 years of age and above) with all types of cancer. These services include up-to-date therapies for solid tumors, hematological malignancies, and bone marrow/stem cell transplantation. Patients receive care in modern inpatient and outpatient facilities coordinated by teams of physicians, nurses, social workers, pharmacists, psychiatrists and psychologists.

Cancer treatment at KHCC uses the multidisciplinary approach where patients are treated in MultiDisciplinary Clinics (MDC) that consist of consultants from different specialties, including: medical oncologists, surgeons and radiation therapists. Clinics have been established for lung, GI, GU, head and neck, CNS, sarcomas, and gynecological malignancies. To ensure a well rounded discussion leading to solid decisions concerning treatment , cases are usually presented to the tumor board, where decisions are made based on evidence–based oncology.
