Dreams Come True
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Undergoing treatment is difficult for both pediatric patients and their families. The Dreams Come True Program was established to uplift the spirits of these children, lighting a candle of hope for young KHCC patients bravely battling cancer.
This program aims to fulfill as many of the dreams of our young patients (1-18 years old) as possible.
Activities include:
· Arranging birthday parties for each in-patient child spending his/her birthday at the Center
· Holding an end-of-treatment celebration for each child who has bravely completed his/her treatment
· Granting final wishes of terminally ill patients
· Granting wishes to underprivileged patients
· Supplying toys and arts & crafts material for KHCC’s playroom
· Distributing gifts to all in-patient children on various religious holidays and special events throughout the year
· Organizing field trips for families to different locations

2. In-Kind Donations
Support the Dreams Come True Program through providing in-kind donations, such as:
· Gifts: Purchase and distribute gifts for young cancer patients
· Events and Outings: Invite cancer patients to a treat outside the Center for celebrations, such as lunch, the movies, parks, etc.
· Entertainment: Provide our youngest patients with an entertaining show at the Center
· Transportation: Supply airline tickets, bus tickets or the like to support patient wishes
· Provide Vouchers for items such as:
o Food and beverage vouchers
o Hotel/ accommodation vouchers
o Religious trips to Hajj or Omra
o Trips to areas outside Amman (Aqaba, Dead Sea, etc.)
o Entertainment outings such as outings to malls, Jingo Jungle, Dream Park, boat rides…etc
o Movie vouchers
o Tickets to concerts
o Beauty Spa vouchers for makeup, wigs, etc.
· Educational Material: Donate educational material and new books for patients and KHCC play areas including specialized supplies for those patients with special needs
· Toys/Electronics/ Decorations: Contribute computers, Play Stations, seasonal decorations and more for the KHCC Play Room
· Courses for Patients: Provide patients with music courses, language courses, computer courses, yoga, etc. for their personal benefit
