Vacation and Holidays

Vacations range from 15-20 working days (excluding weekends).  This does not include national holidays which consist of: 3 days for Eid al-Fitr, 4 days for Eid al-Adha and 1 day for Christmas. Vacation time may be taken at anytime of the year and does not include the professional days taken for career development/education.

The committee also collects money for gifts when staff members have special occasions such as a wedding or new baby.

Safe Work Environment

KHCC meets or beats all safety regulations for its staff and patients. Buildings are secured and wanderers are not able to enter the premises without specifically stated intent. Potentially dangerous individuals are questioned and asked to leave if deemed a threat for whatever reason. For the safety of everyone in the Center, security guards are on call around the clock and extreme measures are taken when handling infected material, radiation or chemotherapy.
