The annual Towards Life Campaign offers subscribers of sponsoring telecommunication mobile providers the opportunity to contribute via SMS messages to KHCF.

During the Holy Month of Ramadan, subscribers are sent an SMS asking them to contribute their Zakat Al-Fitr to KHCF.  For each reply to this SMS message, subscribers made a personal contribution of JD 1 to benefit KHCF. The Towards Life Campaign resumed after Eid and continued until the end of the year.

In 2008, Zain supported KHCF's Towards Life Campaign for the sixth consecutive year. During this campaign, JD 118,507 (US$ 167,382) was collected from YOUR 28,507 SMS messages and a generous contribution of JD 90,000 was received from our partner Zain.

In 2009, for the first time, KHCF’s Towards Life Campaign received support from the three largest mobile service providers in the country - Zain, Orange and Umniah.  This campaign resulted in a donation of JD 31,873 (US$ 45,018) from your 31,873 SMS messages.
