About the KHCC Research Council (RC)
The Research Council is a standing committee that was established in 2012 to oversee the promotion, regulation, and monitoring of all aspects of the research activities undertaken by members of, or within, the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC).
It is responsible for:
- Developing KHCC research strategic plan and research priority areas and sets.
- Monitoring the research performance indicators in collaboration with the Quality Council.
- Recommending the allocation of capital in the research fund on an annual basis.
- Taking decisions on the funding of research projects through Intramural Grants based on scientific review and merit.
